Cemeteries

Listings of the graves in most Boone County and Winnebago County cemeteries have been typed up. Note: Unfortunately, the Scandinavian Cemetery in Rockford, IL, has not been done.

• Boone County: Belvidere Public Library has the Boone County listings, plus a computer printout of all burials, starting in 1837, in the Belvidere Cemetery. All known birth places, spouses' and children's names, veteran status (including which war), and parents' names, if known, have been added to this printout.
• Winnebago County: The Rockford Public Library has typed listings for most of the county cemeteries.
